Aerosoft airbus x extended low fps
#Aerosoft airbus x extended low fps software#
Good for them, and good for you! But please accept that there are people out there who do wish for aircraft software working as close to the real aircraft as possible, which this Aerosoft Airbus just does not provide, period. Now I know that there are a lot of people out there who are absolutely happy with a simplified Airbus like this one. The vertical navigation part is a huge thing on the Airbus FMGS, and if you're missing that then you're missing a huge part of what Airbus flying is all about. You say it's all that an Airbus pilot sees on a good day. BUT they do NOT work like on the real aircraft, the complex system-logic behind the switches is just not there. If we're talking about pressing a button and something happens, then yes they do work. In an earlier message you say that all the system on the overhead panel work. Engine start is default and thus highly unrealistic, the sound is highly inaccurate, and all the displays have lots of stuff not displaying the way the real aircraft does. You know this Airbus is so basic you can see tons of inaccuracies just by watching their marketing and preview videos. Still it is deep enough to give me some sort of real life impression of how it must be to fly this plane. But that's also why I like this Airbus: it takes more to set it up and get it going, but it's not so deep that it costs me too much time to do a flight. I also have been flying GA for the exact same reason as you do. Of course it's true that's it's not a complete advanced addon, but it's not as bad as he makes it imho. I still wonder if he gave this one a try. I like to fly as realisticly as possible, which is why i have been flying GA's lately, i haven't had time to do proper preparations for airliner flight, but GA flying is much more simple and doesn't require so much preparations. He said to me that the plane is not worth the money, and i like to believe him, knowing that he is experienced with other products of the plane and knows the systems in-and-out.īut, that is just me, i prefer to have systems modeled like they are, not "basic". So i will stick to that, i think 40€ is waste of money on this kind of plane. Well, my friend is currently training on A320 and has flown wilco A320 since the release, and he said the plane is not worth the money and is mostly graphical update, and wilco is still best in systems. Well, I have to say I could not agree with you more on this one. in the end it's all a personal preference. But well, some people seem to regard anything that doesn't support SIDS and STARS and WING FLEX as utter crap, so.

Again, saying "systems are default level, and seems to be only a cosmetic update to default airbus" is absolutely utter crap.

It is basic and I would also like to see everything modelled in the MCDU and for VNAV, but I am having great fun.

You got managed and selected modes and only VNAV is a bit simpler.Īpart from that: the graphics are awesome and fps is utterly good for such an addon.Īll in all you could say this plane lets you experience what a real life pilot experiences on a good day (so without failures and so on). All the systems like fuel, hyd, elec, airco, etc, are working and can be monitored on the ECAM. PROG, INIT, DATA, F-PLAN and RADNAV: they may not offer all the options there are in real life, but, again, enough to get you going. The MCDU is basic but you can enter ZFW, block, v-speeds, cost index, landing cfg, flex to temp, etc. Did he actually fly the plane? Okay, it's not an advanced addon, but it offers more then enough. Systems are default level, and seems to be only a cosmetic update to default airbus.
